How your daily skill emails work, how your coach writes its replies, and what happens to a work scenario after you share it.

Your daily skill emails

Two short skills arrive every working day — one in the morning, one in the afternoon. Here's how they work.

When do my daily skills arrive?
Every working day you get two emails: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each skill takes only 5–10 minutes, so it fits around your day rather than taking over it.
Why are the skills different for me than for someone else?
Your skills are built around what you told us about your job — your role, the tasks you do most, and where you'd like to get better. That's why your morning and afternoon skills suit your work, and why they change as you move through different parts of your job.
How do I open a skill from the email?
Press the "Open your AI Coach" button near the top of the email. You'll go straight into the Today section of your account, where your newest skills are waiting at the top. If you're signed out when you press it, you sign in first and then land in Today.
What if I miss a day?
Nothing is lost. Your recent skills stay in the Today section, and your emails keep you up to date with what you've missed, so you can pick up where you left off whenever you like.
Can I get a skill for something specific?
Yes. On the Today page, just under your greeting, there's a box marked "Ask for a skill". Describe what you'd like to learn and press "Build my skill" — your coach writes a skill for that exact task. There's no limit on how many extra skills you ask for.

How your coach replies

The AI Work Coach is a conversation. You describe the work in front of you, and your coach replies with steps you can use straight away.

How do I talk to my coach?
Open "Your AI Work Coach" from the menu. There's a writing box at the top of the page — type about the work in front of you in plain English, like you'd explain it to a colleague, and press Send.
What kind of reply will I get?
Your coach replies in the conversation with clear, practical steps for your exact situation — for example, how to structure an email, break down a report, or set up a spreadsheet. It uses what it knows about your job and your tasks, so the answer fits your work rather than being generic advice.
How many times can I use the coach?
As often as you like. Coaching is unlimited on your membership — ask a question, try the steps, and come back with a follow-up whenever you need to.
Can I paste my real work into the coach?
Yes. You can paste an email, a report or a task description, and your coach can turn it into a ready-made, step-by-step workflow for that job. The page for that is "Paste your work" in the menu.
Is my conversation private?
Yes. Your conversations and your skills are private to your account. They're used to personalise your coaching — never shown to anyone else.
Will the coach always be right?
Treat your coach's suggestions as a starting point, not the final word. Check anything important before it goes out the door — that habit of checking AI's answers is a core part of what we teach, and it's what makes AI safe to use at work.

Shared work scenarios

When you share a real situation from your job, it helps shape better skills for you and for members in similar roles.

How do I share a work scenario?
In your menu, under "More", choose "Share a work scenario". Tell us your role (optional), what happened, and what usually happens next. You can share up to 10 scenarios a day, and you'll see everything you've shared before on the same page.
Who can see my scenario?
Only you and the team behind The AI Skills Company. Your name and your words are never shown to other members — scenarios are turned into coaching prompts, not displayed anywhere public.
What happens after I share it?
Each scenario is reviewed by hand. On your scenario page you'll see its status: "Waiting for review" while it's looked at, "Added to future skills" if it's being used to shape coaching, or "Not used" if it isn't a fit right now. Not being used is normal and nothing to worry about.
What does "Added to future skills" actually mean?
It means your situation has been turned into a coach prompt. When the coach writes skills for members in similar roles, it can use approved prompts like yours to shape examples and practice tasks — so future lessons speak to real situations like the one you described.
Does sharing a scenario change my own skills?
Sharing doesn't change what's already in your Today section. But over time, scenarios like yours help make the skills you and members like you receive feel closer to your real working day.
